- Department of information communication technology has a main mission/purpose in making sure that every schools in our zone has the access and facility to information technology.
- Support primary and secondary schools to have access of radio transmission and plasma television programs respectively.
- Grant support and follow-up for schools which already have the access of e-learning, cloud computing and digital library.
- Help secondary schools in organizing computer laboratories for ICT classes (ICT as a subject).
- Provide assistance in setting-up internet laboratory rooms for schools with internet access.
- Coordinate and organize technical training for technicians.
- Provide preventive and corrective technical maintenance.
- Work with other stakeholders to get infrastructural supplies.
